Adult Hebrew starts January 21.

We will be offering an adult Hebrew class on Sundays from 10:00 am-11:00 am.  The class will be taught by Osnat Rosen, native Hebrew speaker and experienced teacher.  The cost of the class is the materials fee (around $10) and a weekly fee of between $3-$5 per person depending on the number of students enrolled.  Classes will begin on January 14.  Please contact Kym Klapperich at 864.414.3668 to sign up or if you have any questions.

Israeli Dancing starts January 21.

Gaby Alexander, experienced dancer and Temple member, will teach these classes every other Sunday beginning January 14.  Classes will meet from noon to 1:00 pm.  The cost of the class is free but donations are accepted.  Children may attend without an adult if they are able to pay attention, follow directions and participate.  And, of course, adults may attend without children.  Please contact Kym Klapperich to sign up or if you have any questions.

March 11—What is "Right and Good" in God's Sight?… In the Torah we are told to do what is right and good in the sight of God.We will study texts to understand the larger message of this passage.

April 22 and 29—Got Prayer?…We will study our prayer service in order to understand the deeper spiritual meaning of praying.Topics that we will discuss will include: what exactly is the purpose of prayer in Judaism, how we derive meaning from a fixed prayer service, the meaning of the order of the service, and the meaning of each of our major prayers.
